1. Find a sober friend to bring with you. Being the only sober one at the party is never fun. Luckily, you have plenty of friends from Awakenings for Women that you can choose from and drag out with you. After all, the buddy system always works!
2. Hit the movie theater. For all of the movie buffs out there, then a little known secret is that St. Patrick’s Day is one of the best days to go and watch a movie in the theaters. Think about it, everyone else is out drinking at bars, making the theater wide open for you and your sober friends.
3. Don’t force yourself to miss the party. If the thought of not being with your friends on St. Patrick’s Day puts you in a bad mood, then remember that just because you are sober does not mean that you can’t have fun. Simply name yourself the designated driver and get ready for a night full of fun.
